Your Stay: Good to Know 🧡

We want you to feel at home from the moment you arrive, so here's what to expect.

What's provided?

All our homes are self-catering, though we make sure the essentials are ready for you:

  • Fresh bed linen, with beds made up for your arrival
  • A fresh bath towel and hand towel for every guest
  • Kitchen basics: salt, oil, a washing-up sponge, dishwasher tablets and toilet paper, enough for the first few days
  • A hairdryer, iron and ironing board
  • Shampoo, conditioner and soap in most of our homes (just ask us if you'd like to check)

Do I need to bring anything?

Just your food, your beach towels (please don't take our bath towels to the beach!), and anything extra for a longer stay.

Do you have cots and high chairs?

Yes! We have travel cots with a separate mattress and high chairs available. Just let us know when you book, so we can make sure they're set up and ready for you. For allergy reasons we're unable to provide cot bedding, so please bring your own for your little one.

Can I bring my dog?

Many of our homes welcome dogs. Look out for "dog-friendly" on the listing. Some of our other homes may make an exception, so do ask us.

How many dogs can I bring, and is there a charge?

Up to 2 dogs, with a one-off fee of £20 per dog per stay.

What are the rules if I bring my dog?

We love our four-legged guests! To keep the home lovely for everyone, including future guests with allergies, we kindly ask that:

  • your dog is never left home alone (new places can feel stressful for them), unless they're crate trained. Need a dog sitter? Just ask us and we'll happily help.
  • they stay off sofas, beds and soft furnishings (they'll have their own blanket)
  • they're kept out of carpeted areas, using the baby gate provided
  • you pick up after them in the garden or outdoor space, and pop it in the black bin
  • you let us know straight away about any accident or damage

A pet welcome pack with a clean blanket and a fresh towel for after the beach will be waiting for them.

Can you help with a celebration or activities?

Absolutely! We're happy to help organise decorations, cake and bubbly, or local experiences. Just ask for options and prices.

Want to do the decorating yourself? Depending on the season, we'll do our utmost to arrange early access, so you can get everything ready and surprise that special someone.

What if something goes wrong during my stay?

Our local team is on call 24/7. Just call or message us, and we'll sort it out.

Can we use the barbecue or fire pit?

Of course, where the home has one! Please don't light a barbecue or fire pit when it's windy or wind is forecast, and never leave a fire unattended. Barbecues and fire pits aren't part of our cleaning service, as ashes and coals are often still hot when guests leave, so please give them a quick clean before you use them. Once everything has fully cooled, ash can go in the bin, but never while it's still warm.

Can I check in early?

We'd love to welcome you as soon as we can, and we always do our very best to give early access. Because our cleaning rota changes with last-minute bookings, we can't confirm early check-in in advance, but whenever the home is ready before 4pm, we'll let you in early automatically. Just keep an eye on your messages on arrival day, and we'll tell you the moment it's ready.
