Beautifully restored 1890 Victorian home with original features, stylish interiors, and a magical courtyard garden. Light-filled living spaces, a spacious kitchen with Italian range, and three elegant double bedrooms. Perfect for families or relaxed coastal escapes, this much-loved home blends character, comfort, and calm.

Built in 1890, this beautifully restored double-fronted Victorian home welcomes you through a charming gate and leafy tree arch — a quiet moment before stepping into a light-filled, thoughtfully designed space.

Inside, the house blends timeless character with modern comfort. Original wooden floors run throughout, paired with a calming palette of Farrow & Ball paints that enhance the sense of light and space.

The spacious kitchen sits just off the entrance hall — a stylish, sociable hub with a large dining table for six, generous pantry storage, and a striking Italian range oven, perfect for long, relaxed meals.

To the front of the house, a welcoming family living room features an ornate marble fireplace and a bright bay window. A second sitting room offers a more intimate retreat, complete with books, a beautiful original fireplace, TV, and drinks cabinet. French doors open onto the courtyard garden — a truly magical outdoor space designed by a local eco gardener, with an egg chair, bistro table, and room for children to play.

Downstairs also includes a cleverly designed “loo-tility” room, combining a utility space with a WC, finished with a statement copper heated towel rail.

Upstairs, a gently curving staircase leads to three light-filled double bedrooms and a family bathroom, where an original stained glass door adds a unique touch of character.

This home was lovingly restored by my late partner and me — a true labour of love, filled with happy memories. I hope guests will feel that warmth and create their own special moments here.

DOGS WELCOME!

We love our four-legged guests, and to be honest, they're often better behaved than some of our human ones! Up to 2 dogs are welcome, at £20 per dog per stay. Just let us know when you book, and a pet welcome pack will be waiting, with a clean blanket and a fresh white towel. Because they're worth it, and they deserve a good dry after a day playing on the beach!

To keep the home lovely for everyone, including future guests who may have dog allergies, we kindly ask that:

• your dog is never left home alone (new places can feel stressful for them), unless they're crate trained. Need a dog sitter? Just ask us.
• they stay off sofas, beds and soft furnishings (the blanket is all theirs!)
• they're kept out of carpeted areas (please use the baby gate where one is provided)
• you pick up after your dog in the garden, bag it and pop it in the black bin
• you let us know straight away about any accident or damage. We'd much rather know, so we can put it right.
